Baccelli e Pecorino: Fava Beans and Pecorino
- 1 pound/450 g fresh fava beans
- 12 ounces/400 g Pecorino cheese
Shell the fava beans into a bowl and serve with slices of Pecorino cheese.
Cook's Note from the Food Network Test Kitchens: For best results, remove the fava beans from the pods. Blanch the fava beans in boiling salted water for 1 minute. Remove the beans and plunge into cold water; drain and shell.
