Ingredients

  • Ciabatta bread, for serving
  • 4 ounces high-quality Italian Recla speck, sliced wafer-thin
  • 2 ounces Swiss Gruyere cheese, sliced to medium-thickness
  • 3 thin slices preserved lemon

Directions

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.

Slice the bread in half lengthwise and add the folded pieces of speck. Layer on the cheese and top with the lemons. Close with the top piece of bread and toast in the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbling, 7 to 10 minutes.
